Hey guys, I used to stationed in Pearl Harbor and I'll be on Oahu 4/19 - 4/29 to see old friends and of course the island that I fell in love with. I plan on diving quite a bit during the days and I'm bringing my own gear. I'd like to know if anyone else is planning on doing any shore diving between those dates. I'd like to stick to a schedule of 2 tanks in the AM, lunch, and maybe a dive or hike in the PM. I'm renting a car so any dive site is accessible. I also am planning on diving the Sea Tiger, Corsair, and maybe other boat dive sites. If anyone's also looking for a dive buddy, let me know.
If anyone has suggestions on Oahu shore dive sites, et al, please let me know too. Ive dived the north shore when I lived there, but it was when I was a novice and was maybe only like 8 dives. I'd like to find a place to do some good macro photography.
I'm considering spending my last 4 days in Hawaii on Maui diving on the west coast, Molokini crater, Lanai, and Molokai. Does anyone know if this is a good time of year to be in that area and see big pelagics such as hammerheads?
