A little set up help needed. I purchased an Ikelite W20 and the documentation indicates that the lense should be mounted on the housing with water between the housing and the lense. Does this mean that I need to mount the lense in the water? This might be obvious but I just want to know if there is some experince out there that can enusre decent results.

Thanks

Some people mount the lenses once in the water, also easy to loose or cross thread them that way. I have holes drilled into my port threaded ring to allow water in and air to escape. You might sometimes find an air bubble or bubbles in between the port and lens, in which case, you have no choice but to "burp" the lens. N
