It's kind of progressing with my physical fitness & $$ in my pocket. When I was a student & poor, I was into martial arts (Shorinji Kempo, Kungfu, Tae Kwon Do, Karate). As I got older, my body started to tell me to take it easy & having more $$ to spend on vacations, I started scuba diving & skiing. Those activities won't last forever, so I'm preparing myself for the inevitable like starting to do more hiking & yoga. You need to have plan B lineup.

Motorcycles, bicycle, flying and boating.....I have no time for anything else :)

Except for family!

Nice... Mrs Stoo caught me looking at a porn site (BMW Motorrad USA) the other day, and nixed any potential return to my biker days... :-(

Boo!

If I really, absolutely could not dive I suppose I would still go to Cozumel for the food and T-shirts.

Plus I suppose I would acquire, maintain and set up gear for my family and friends.

But I don't only dive--I swim too. To stay in shape for diving. I also ride my bicycle. To stay in shape for diving.

I'd just expand the other stuff I do. I'd start shooting hoops again (at 63 too old to compete by a few decades). Practice my clarinet more. Maybe get back into some serious fishing--salt or fresh water. And above all, continue to watch a ton of TV.

I've been playing golf longer than I've been diving so I do'nt see myself giving that up.
Besides that it will be something that's not so hard on the body. All the years of racing dirt bikes and skiing is noticeable when I wake up.
I do enjoy cycling to keep in shape.
I could always return to shooting and archery.
