My buddy and I dived Marineland on Friday morning and even with the extreme low tide, it was great! By far the most rewarding dive at the site for us to date. The usual suspects were out but we were blessed by plenty of spanish shawls, olive and grass rock fish, painted greenlings and even a sleeping tree fish! The visibility was easily 20-25ft and current was low. For the first time we were able to really get a scope of the reef structures and get an understanding of the layout. Can't wait till the rain clears and we can get back down there. :D

Great conditions...sorry I missed it. I was volunteering as a "pet Santa" in support of our dog rescue organization, so I dont feel TOO bad about it =)

By the way, I managed to puncture my DSS wing recently. I sent it to Tobin this past Friday and had it back in my hands today! Those of you using the ballast plates on DSS backplates, be carefull of the two radii on each side where the ballast plate is cut out to clear the waist portion of the harness straps.

The LoLa swell model is forecasting really great conditions for Friday and Saturday. Make sure not to miss this one!
