Part of the problem is this

Odd Line: Mexican Government Will No Longer Allow Any Businesses to Accept US Dollars

They have a hard enough time trying to accept the dollar there. Another is they are not dollar savy and probably have a hard time telling a photo copied dollar and an authentic dollar. Amazing what you can do with a laser printer.

I dont know, the fellow at the cambio on south end of square went to great lengths to explain how easy it was to tell real from counterfeit US dollars.....
