Taken on a recent night dive at Guarapari in Brazil.
Head like a fish, body like an eel - about 1.5m long. Tail like a Moray eel.
It continues well off the photo.
The DM said he'd never seen anything like it before in that region.
 
Looks like a conger eel of some sort.

We'd never seen one of these down here although the reference you gave includes Brazil.
The size limit is definitely wrong. It states 100cm max but I have have another photo which I didn't post because it was from further away as it moved off and there is a lot of suspension so it becomes very hard to see if you drop the resolution below 1MB in order to post it. But when you look at the second photo in high resolution, the animal is well over 1m long.
 
Some congers such as Conger cinereus (found in the Indo-Pacific area) can be up to 130cm in length.
