I posted this in the SoCal forum, but haven't had any response yet. In the last two clips of the video, there is a small black fish. Any clues will be helpful.

Location: Veterans Park, Redondo Beach, California
Depth: ~12'
Time: ~16:00

While I don't have an answer, I do have a question. What sort of sea slug is that in the opening shot? The striped one - I've seen one down at Marine Room, and of course it was too small for my camera to focus on without putting it in macro mode (which would be useless considering the surge) and wasn't sure if it was some sort of sea hare because of its size, or something else.

Also, hi! LTNS :)

Right?! :)

That's a navanax, which apparently is not a nudibranch.

I'm glad you're still diving, text me sometime.

Oh, and thanks for the bump.

That is a Navanax inermis & you are correct--it is a sea slug.

All nudibranchs are sea slugs, but not all sea slugs are nudibranchs. Navax is an example of this.

Cheers,
