Wonder why the hell we like Ice Diving? Come find out
The Weekend of Jan. 8-9 we will be holding an Ice class. We are unsure of the date due to weather. With ice diving, you don't want the surface too cold, and we don't want to have a few warm days that kill the ice. So we will aim for Saturday, but possibly switch to Sunday if needed.
Class will start at the shop at 8am and the price is $150. No books needed to read, we will teach you everything in class...around ten we will go over to our private local quarry (about ten minutes away), and start prepping and cutting the ice. As soon as everything is ready, it's time to dive. You will do 2 20-30 minutes dives under the ice. You will complete the required skills, then you get to enjoy the beauty of ice diving.
No need to wait for Haigh to open early March, we have Ice Classes all winter. If the above dates don't work, still sign up and we will keep you posted on upcoming classes. Ice is short notice as you just don't know exactly when its going to be good
This is a one day class, and if people want to, we can go back on Sunday, and do some fun ice dives
