Imagine if it got as cold here as in the rest of Canada. I bet most of the Strait of Georgia would be frozen over and they'd need ice breakers to get the ferries through. You'd need drills and chainsaws to dive in Saanich Inlet.

Global cooling doesn't sound so bad. :D

You got it. East Point, Saturna Island.

 
On Sunday the air temp was 39C and the minimum temperature during the dive was 44C, as recorded by my computer.

So, if you are cold you should jump in the ocean ;-)

Did you go diving there? I once did a dive right where you were standing to take that photo with the white building.

No, maybe next time. I'd like to try diving Winter Cove / Boat Passage when the currents cooperate.
