after reading various websites , most organisations require you to be over 18 to train in decompression diving , however on the iantd site it mentions diving with 50% o2 for decompression diving , yet you only have to be over 15

is this right or am i reading it wrong ?

I think you're right..

"1. This Program is designed to extend the diver’s knowledge in the use of EANx for Sport diving. It further develops diving skills
and provides a greater understanding of the EANx concept of diving.
2. The Program employs EANx mixes from 21% to a maximum of 50% oxygen.
3. This program qualifies divers to do dive to 140 fsw (42 msw) and do decompression stops required dives for up to 15 minutes
using EAN 50 as a decompression gas
B. Prerequisites
1. Must be qualified as an IANTD EANx Diver and IANTD Deep Diver with proof of a minimum of 25 logged dives or sufficient
experience to satisfy the instructor that the student has the ability and knowledge to continue into this level of training.
2. Must be a minimum of 15 years of age with a parent or guardian authorization, or a minimum of 18 years of age without
guardian approval."

lol , thanks , its confusing me tho some of the info on dive sites

iantd website says they want both deep diver and nitrox diver ,but every dive shop ive rang only wants nitrox diver and some said that theyd include into the advanced course so i dont have to do it
