The Annual IAHD-Americas Dive In Festival is taking shape!!
It's that time of the year again - on Saturday, June 7, 2014, join us at our annual "Dive In" Festival, an all day event designed to bring divers and non-divers in the community together for a day of fun activities, great music, good food, and an o[[ortunity to learn about the mission of the International Association for Handicapped Divers, and how we support the IAHD-Americas programs.
The "Dive In" Festival, will be held on the grounds of Indian Valley Scuba, located at 601 Yoder Road in Harleysville, PA on Saturday, June 7th. The festivities are scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m. and will be going on until 6:00 pm. The partial list of events for this year's festival includes:
And if all that's not enough, we're also celebrating Indian Valley Scuba's Eleventh Anniversary of the founding of our dive center! From a great idea and a 'sketch on a napkin' in 2003, to thousands of certified divers and hundreds of great trips ten years later, Indian Valley Scuba is honored to host the Dive In Festival and share in the day of fun and celebration with our friends and community!
The festivities will start at 10:00 a.m. and run all day long, wrapping up with live music and a celebration party in the evening. Register on-line to be entered in some fantastic drawings for trips and gear! All proceeds benefit the IAHD-Americas, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to bringing the magic of the underwater world to divers with physical, mental & emotion challenges everywhere through adaptive scuba training and special needs programs.
