I need a good dive operator for the Vandenburg by tomorrow morning!!

I know, no time at all but I happen to be in Key West and would really like to dive the Vandenburg. I don't know if I will be here the following day so I have to jump now. Please anyone recommend an outfit, I hate to have to pick one out of the phone book.

If you book with SeaDuction, call them to make sure their boat is operational. Our trip on Saturday was scrubbed due a fairly significant steering issue.

Lost Reef Adventures and Captain's Corner are also good operations.

SEADuction is generally an hour. I usually take a little longer because my computer is quite conservative and I end up at my no deco limit quickly on the second dive.

I think an hour is the general rule, though Captain's Corner let my buddy and I decide the length of our SI. We did not go overly deep on the first dive and both of us had pretty rich nitrox mixtures (I was on the edge of my MOD at 1.4 PPO2: I brought my own tanks). I think we took 45 or 50 minutes for a SI. My bet is that they are a bit more rigorous with air divers.

Sorry for the late response. I highly recommend Lost Reef Adventures. Great crew, great boat, great briefing, outstanding line setup with safety stop bottles hung out every time. We'll always dive with them in Key West!
