My wife is from KL Malaysia, since our vacation was in her backyard I left it to her and her sister to plan it out. The idea of taking a scuba class came up a few weeks b4 the vacation. I thought it would be fun but not hot on the idea. I had no idea what PADI was what a BCD was my only source of info was from the Discovery Channel.
We went to the Perhentian Island on the east coast of Malaysia. WOW beautiful place to take a class better then a swimming pool. I was unaccustomed to the friendliness of the ppl on the island and DS. The environment, instructor, staff and the many beautiful ocean life I saw in the clear waters there made it an unforgettable experience.
Vacation is over but the experience remands fresh in my mind. I miss KL and the diving. I am looked into moving to KL for a few years to absorb the culture and DIVING. My adventure continues now in SoCal. Until next year KL here I come.
