...PLANKTON???

I'm pretty good proof that diving is not always an aerobic activity. No sense in rushing around, using up your air supply, and stiring up the UW neighborhood!

Netdoc has referred to my style of diving as manatee-like. I've sort of thought of it as blending in with the surroundings. But after this morning's dive, a buddy suggested that my dive style was more like drifting plankton. I think that was a compliment...

I wonder if its possible to be TOO lazy during a dive???

BTW, today, being lazy resulted in being approached by a bunch of squid, hanging out with a hawksbill, and even watching it stalk three squid trying to sneak in for a dinner. You should see how squid react when they're angry! Not a sound, but man what drama!!!

OK, I'm commited to burning at least 1 calorie during tomorrow's dive. Plankton? Hhrummpf!

Go Ahead and burn that one calorie, rub it in. I have to dive at 0500 tomorrow and court is a for sure go next week.

Thats alright, just keep rubbing it in. My hide is tough.

I hope you'll be able to join us - just left dinner with The Brit and she's gonna tan you good. You don't want her & Jo & Marla to team up on you... Of course, I know you'll be thinking about our plankton dives...

Henry is even getting weird on my dashboard.

Two of those three got me good once before, my ticker won't take much more of that:D

Say HI to everyone for me.

Tell the Brit hi for me, too. I'll be down there next Sunday. Sending you an e-mail with a general time frame. I like plankton style diving, keeps me nice and calm.

Dove a nice deeper wreck (RSB-1; 120') and while imitating a plankton mass, I came across some tunicates. Hey they're even duller than plankton! So cool...

The Brit and others say Hey.

Plankton style diving is a good thing. Kind of like stopping to smell the roses along the way.

Never understood why people want to move fast UW knowing full well that drag quadruples when speed doubles; and all of this in a media that is 800 times denser that what we humans normally move through.
