I have a problem with my Atomic M1. Atomic users please read

I received a M1 that for 6 dives it was fantastic!!! Then a week later the rapid air adjustment knob on the 2nd stage now doesn't rotate more than 3/4 of a turn! It worked fine in Curacao. The reg was soaked and rinsed under pressure as per instructions. Any Ideas what happened?? It is off too a LDS for repairs. Since it was a gift and purchased out of the USA I was told the warranty would not cover the repair. I did not have any other LDS that was an Atomic dealer to bring it too:>( I have 3 other Atomic's(B1 /T2) and I have never had any problems with them. I guess I just got a bum one! After LDS works on it, I will post what they found wrong.

where do you live...perhaps someone here can direct you to a good LDS to take a look at it for you...warranty or not, sounds like a tech. should take a look at it for you...you will likely have to pay for the service but it shouldn't be too much.

Contact Atomic directly. I think you should find that they will be haooy to take care of a defect in their new regulator. Could be as simple as a piece of junk wedged between the stop & the body reducing the range of adjustment.
