On Saturday, 07/26 I spent the day diving at Santa Catalina Island. On the third dive of the day one of my friends pointed out a moray eel. As I was looking at it and in the rocks around it I spotted my find. It has some algae growing on it but the shape was unmistakable (at least to this person :D ).

The only thing that I'm sorry about is that I wasn't diving the Valiant when I found it.

For those that aren't familiar with the Valiant the story goes that just outside the underwater park is the wreck of the Valiant. It is a yacht that sank in 1932 after 4 days of burning. $75,000 in jewelry has never been found.

Great! I dropped it there about a month ago. Please send it to me as soon as possible. I will give a $5.00 reward for finding it, and even pay the postage.

P.S. I dropped a genuine diamond. If you do an analysis and find that it is paste, then it is not mine and don't bother sending it.

Holy smokes Ann Marie, why oh why did I not just go back in with you! I sure hope it is real.

Wow that is really cool regardless lol...even better if it is real. When I was in the lds yesterday someone called to see if anyone wanted to make some money looking for a lost piece of jewlery in the intracoastal by Boca resort. I was really curious as to what it could be considering the money that boats around here lol.

Cool. The penny cleaned up nicely.

Excellent find. You should try something. If you put it next to a Canadian penny, it will look slightly bigger. That makes for a Great Story....especially if told all the way home from the bank. For your sake, I too hope it is real.

:rofl3: Not even going to take it to have it looked at by someone that could tell me if it is anything other than glass!

I'm an expert...trust me....it's glass, worth nothing. I'll take it off your hands so it doesn't clutter up your dresser. Your welcome in advance. :crafty:
