Sounds like someone left that to be found if it was 900 feet back.
Maybe they just had to swim that far for it to finally work its way out.

It was actually stuffed in a little hole with just the tip... visible.

I saw a speck of white in an area that was mostly black and thought "That looks out of place."

The real question, if you are diving DIR, would that go in the left or right pocket?

While it isn't as impressive as my own real one, it was quite impressively sized and wouldn't fit in my pockets.

What is the craziest thing you ever found while scuba diving? I'm not scuba diving every day because I don't live on the beach but mine craziest thing would probably be a chunck of wood that is just laying in the sea.

22cal revolver with scope and loaded. Still fired, light surface rust. Bottom of kings river, near Fresno, California.

I saw what I thought was a sandal. I passed it a couple of times, planning to pick it up at the end of the dive. When I grabbed it, I realized it was a brass footplate from a hardhat diver.

I also found a gas tank from a seventy-year-old Seagull outboard motor. I cleaned it up to make it shiny again. When I removed the cap, I discovered it was still full of gas.

I thought I had found a scuba cylinder one time years ago. I had found a lot of stuff lost by students on that reef over the years.

This day I was diving the reef and I saw some movement out of the corner of my eye. I looked over and it was a scuba tank. I thought "WOW! I just found a scuba tank! And it's the same color as mine! Now I have a matching pair."

Then the reg hose started pulling on my jaw and I realized my AL cylinder had floated out of my BC because the tank strap wasn't tight enough.

Found a big silk flower sitting on a rock. I’m reasonably familiar with the west coast sea life, thought it was some weird animal for quite a while though!

I was diving Blue Heron Bridge and found something wrapped in butcher paper, about the size of a rolled up T-Shirt. I started to unroll the paper and a dollar came out. So I continued to unwind the paper thinking there must be more money. All of a sudden a chicken head floats out followed by some beans and other small items. I still have the dollar. Not sure what to do with it..
