I have found this since losing a fair bit of weight. I feel great and mentally I feel better as well but I definitely have a lot less resistance to the cold. Still a lot better to add a sweater than 45lbs in weight! To say this has been cathartic would be an understatement. I've lost @45 pounds and feel very healthy. I'm in a great place mentally as well right now. However, I find I'm not as cold tolerant with the weight loss, so I'll have to deal with exposure protection so I can dive this winter. I still have a lot to do here, but I finally feel "moved in".
I'm heading to Bonaire on January 14 with the ScubaBoard Surge. I'll be teaching NitrOx, AOW and a Deep Specialty while I'm there. Should be fun!!! I am at the point where I feel relaxed about the homestead now. I went diving just last week in Troy Springs and when my balls descend after getting out in 30 degree weather (thanks to @sphyon) I'll be ready to dive again. I think I need to get my Drysuit out and give it another shot. Does anyone make a tye dye drysuit???So when is it going to warm up enough you can start diving and teaching again?
