What a great hobby/sport you have decided to take up. I was certified years ago and was hooked right off the bat. Like PapaBear has said, you're gonna love it when you do your first Caribbean trip or where ever you go for that first warm water experience. Nothing wrong with the cold water diving of course but I just get spoiled with the warm climates.
Three of my favorites that I think are reasonable in price are Cozumel, Bonaire, and Roatan. You'd enjoy any three I'm sure.
I did the camera thing about a year ago and then got hooked on video. So I sold the camera and now want to upgrade the video system.
The entire scuba experience can be very addictive!
