I just bought a hydros pro with air2-fifth generation. I am curious what people think about using the oral inflator instead of an octo and how you handle deflating BCD on ascent when,as I understand it, you’re not supposed to inflate or deflate when someone is using the mouthpiece for air. TIA!

You have a right shoulder pull-dump to release air on ascent while breathing off the Air2.

You can also pull on the inflator hose to dump air out of the left shoulder dump valve.
 
And remember the dumping lever that protrudes from the actual left shoulder dump, wow!
