I agree Carebear...I am also not a very good swimmer, but once I get my gear on I am very comfortable in the water...I am working on becoming comfortable without the gear.

When I was in Bonaire recently I swam out to about 15 feet of water off of the coast...with nothing on..well swim trunks, I was a little uncomfortable at first but I soon realized that it was pretty simple and I used my lung volume/breathing patterns to stay afloat effortlessly. Much easier to do in salt water. :)
