Hydro Testing in Chattanooga or Knoxville, TN

Where do people in the Chattanooga, TN area go for hydro testing? I've made a few phone calls, and Chattanooga Fire Protection seems to be the best bet (2-3 day turnaround, $20/tank), but I'm curious who others are using.

The same question goes for Knoxville. I'll be in Athens, TN over Christmas, and would like to get a couple of tanks out of storage and hydro'ed before I lug them back with me.

Check out this site to find the closest DOT hydro test facility. Not all of these facilities deal with scuba tanks so call before you go to one. The ones that do can also fill your tanks as well without a VIP sticker but they do not do nitrox fills.

FWIW, I ended up taking them to Chattanooga Fire Protection. They didn't mind me bringing only two tanks. $20/tank, and they were done in three days.

take them to a DIVE SHOP because you will need a visual and fill anyway. SUPPORT YOUR LDS
