CHUM (City of Houston Underwater Mariners) are hosting an event on October 20th for hurricane relief in Houston. The event will be at the Mykonos restaurant at 2181 Richmond, kicking off at 7 pm.

First off we'll have a book signing by Joe Burnworth, author of No Safe Harbor - the story of the sinking of the Wave Dancer in Belize.

Then we'll be holding a silent auction with some very cool items up for sale.

And there will be a raffle for an artifact retrieved from the Andrea Doria by Gary Gentile.

Plus the usual drunken debauchery...

We're hoping to raise a heap of cash to help out - this is an open event, so you don't have to be a member to come along, it's all about helping out and having some fun while doing it.
