Hurricane Dean

Just got an e-mail from Larry Stevenson, owner of the Reef House in Oak Ridge, east end of the south shore. He says the whole storm was really a total non-event where they are; the boats were actually out with divers this morning, and he says it's a nice day. Won't know about the viz until the boats get back, which is just about now. They were hoping for rain to fill their cistern, but didn't even get that!

The west end was pretty much shut down yesterday, and they haven't heard yet how things went down that way. So if you're on the way to Roatan, you might have to look hard to find any effect at all from the storm. Enjoy!

I am planning on going in January, please keep us posted. I haven't booked yet, for other reasons, that have now cleared, but Dean sacred me a little. If I can find out how the diving is, I'll book this week. Thanks for any info.

We spent the early hours of Dean at Sundowners downing Salva Vidas. Yesterday we didn't dive but we are back on track today the 22nd.
