If anyone was following my previous thread, you know what I'm after. If not, well here we go.

Short end of it, I'm looking for a HP port splitter so I can fit both my SPG & Transmitter on the same side. I've found LP splitter's (Innovative's "Multi Port Adapter"), but I can't find one for the HP port.

Am I barking up the wrong tree here? Is there technical or safety reason I'm not finding these?

My reg (Tusa RS230) has 1HP per side, and I would prefer to have the SPG & Transmitter on the same side due to my wearing my computer on my left wrist.

...does the transmitter not work if it's on the right and your computer is on your left wrist?
Would it be too hard to wear your computer on your right wrist?

To answer your question--I've never seen one but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

Here's the manual for the VT3/Transmitter: http://www.oceanicworldwide.com/pdf/12-2705-r02.pdf

Page 68 show's a diagram of the transmission pattern of the unit. I assume it will work on the right side, but looking at the diagram I have reservations about it.

Besides, I've found myself a project. I wanna know if these things exist damnit! haha

Yes, right wrist aint gonna happen. I'm naturally right handed, and naturally legally blind in my right eye, so ya know. I'm stubborn ;-)

I downloaded the manual--looking at that diagram, it looks like you'll be fine whether it's positioned on the left or right side of the 1st stage. :)

I'm really hoping so. I've got what amounts to an extension for the transmitter on the way, so we'll see how that works.

You could use a banjo fitting for a second HP port but they are all 3/8 so a 3/8 - 7/16 adapter would also be needed.

Care to elaborate? I'm not so sure what you mean by "banjo fitting". Closest thing I know of is a banjo bolt, which has squat to do with anything other than an old paintball marker. lol
