I've been busy all weekend, but caught a snippet of "news" on TV showing a big hurricane spinning off the tip of the Yucatan, headed for the US Gulf coast. It was hard to tell from the animation, but it looked like it went right through the Caymans.

Anybody know how the islands fared with this storm?

some rain yesterday, lots of rain today. That's about it! It passed 200 miles west, so all we got was the edge ; its a non-story for us.

Max winds here were about 25mph with grey skies and rain. The center of this thing never got close to Cayman.

Thank heavens for the miss. Hope it misses FL too!
