Ah, it's not that hard to say. Humu humu nuku nuku a pua'a. Except it probably sounds better with a native island accent rather than a Texan's. Neat fish, neat name, neat username. :usa_2: Well, I've always like it.
 
I'm gonna have to stick with Gregg too.... :laughing: I have way to much twang for the screen name.... Welcome to the Board Gregg!!!!! :wavey: mabey one day I'll be able to say your screen name without causing too much laughter (from my husband)...

Hee hee...Gregg is just fine. Like Dandy Don said, though. Humuhumunukunukuapua'a is easier to say than you'd think. Most of those longer Hawaiian words are reptitive. In this case, two humu's (hoomoo), two nuku's (nookoo), an apu (apoo), two a's (ah).

Instead of "say cheese", our thing on the islands is always, "Say humuhumunukunukuapua'a" Makes for some funny pictures of people with their lips pursed :)
