My first act, posting here, haven't even looked at the forum yet. But I have high hopes. My experience is limited to tropical areas so far (too coooool here!) My current main interest is learning about underwater photography. Looking forward to getting to know you

I don't think you'll be disappointed. Collectively there is a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience on this board. As a matter of fact, individually, there are some divers on this board that I find have more wisdom and knowledge about diving than some of us may ever have.

I'm assuming that you're in Big Sky, Montana. Be sure to correct me if I'm wrong.

That would be cold, but you may want to talk to our neighbors to the north (Canada & Alaska) before you write off cold water diving. It sounds great if you are wearing the right thermal protection.

Don't forget to fill out your profile, so that we can add context to your future posts. Also, once we are sure where you are geographically, you may find that you'll have a whole bunch of new dive buddies to choose from.

Heya and welcome to the Scuba Board. This is certainly a great place to find answers you may have..... I'm with you on the cold water thing (eeeek, just isn't for me) lol
