I just bought a Motor Marine II kit that also includes a 20mm conversion lens.
It will be a backup camera for my Nikonos V cameras.

I am looking for the manual or at least the information about how to set the focus and aperture.

According to what is printed on the lens I can only reach infinity with F11
What distance to I need to see the focus on the camera when mounting this lens?

Also at F11 and a 1/125 shutter speed (needed limit motion blur while free diving...). I am going to need to use a film much faster than the DX code limit of ISO 400 :-/

Wait.... Am I seeing a post from Pre-Internet era???
(I'm Joking)

Check out this link, it give some basic idea on how to use the camera
review of Sea&Sea Motormarine II

And, with google search, I stumbled on this...
PDF Manual for Motor Marine II
You should have a read.

I'm not so sure I understand your "what is printed on the lens I can only reach infinity with F11"

Focus distant and Aperture is totally not related. (Well, it might relate if you're talking about 'depth of field'.)

Thanks for your quick reply.
I had found these links as well but am specifically looking for for the info on the use of this conversion lens. For the same reasons you are questioning the F11 and infinity setting.

I am very familiar with with the use of the 20mm and 15mm lens on the Nikonos and am therefore puzzled with this conversion lens.

My guess is that the camera needs to be set to infinity and that the focus range is as usual determined by the aperture.
In this case it looks like it can only archive infinity by f11 or smaller aperture.

But it’s guess work and I have limited opportunity for trial and error. Plus unlike with digital seeing the results take time slowing down the learning curve…

I also tried to find the info using the wayback machine on the Seaandsea website. Meantime hoping they will answer my email as well….

And ehhh yes I’m old. Was one of the first to shoot digital underwater.

Now preparing for a trip to French Polynesia to free dive with whales.
Not wanting to lug a huge underwater housing with me I choose for the compact Nikonos V and B&W film.

This MM2 is just a cheap €50 backup my spouse can use as well….
