Can't speak for lenses coated on the inside, but I've had great luck using a Sonicare toothbrush. Whatever product you use - shampoo or Seabuff or whatever - it will go much faster than with your finger. I used to have to resort to the lighter, but now it takes 5 minutes and I'm done.
