How to locate the optimal height for sidemount cylinder bands

    Yeah....the sliding during thing is a waste. I do have the Stealth O-rings on my rig for AL tanks but all the other ones available are pretty much sitting on a drawer in my shop....good for not much.

    I get the first point how to measure the from the armpit down to the mid-point of the waist belt, but second point I cant understand.

    What does "distance down from the top of the tank valve" exactly mean? It it the maximum top or the center of the exhaust hole where the air comes out?!

    from the center of the valve knob which is where the bungee is going to attach.
