DIR rigged stage, reg stays on the left side as normal, inflator hose or QC6 runs down and through the handle to the other side.I guess I’ll go for hose colour.
I was wondering if it’s because maybe I should give a bit of slack and let the stage hang a bit more or something like this.
I had the hoses on the right side of the bolt snaps, so it wasn’t easy to see unless I unclipped.
I think I’ll move the hoses on the left side of the bolt snap by rotating the first stage.
Was trying to get random opinions/tips from different people![]()
I didn’t understand the second part when you say that it runs down through the handle.Pictures of what you’re talking about might help.

Thanks, I use it only for DSMBs when I want my large DSMB to be really fully inflated and I happen to have the stage for this dive.Attached.
How often are you needing to deploy that inflator hose? I assume this for a rebreather bailout. If it’s not, why do you have an inflator hose (or QD or QC6 etc) on a stage?
The regulator hose does have a second stage.a quick disconnect and a regulator ... is there a way to make it easy to identify which one is which
When you put a quick disconnect and a regulator on a stage, is there a way to make it easy to identify which one is which one when you need to remove one from the rubber bands?
