Hey Spoon,

Actually my friends are non divers. Eddie is one, he is usually there from Dec -april, has a little bar somewhere...can't remember the name at the moment
Peter, used to manage Nigi's and owns(ed) a little flower shop at "the mall", is another but he is back in Canada these days after about 6 years in Bora.
But when i did dive it was with Munster who managed Scuba World there back in 99 and 00.
Matt who runs Atlantis in PG is also a good friend of mine...we worked in Palau at the same time, but i have only been to PG once.
You know, i really need to go to PI soon, missing the macro....and the parties

ok cool, i have two canadian friends who own bars in Bora. one is actually a retired fireman from canada. anyway been to bora over a dozen times and never to dive. just basically go to paradise to enjoy the sun and the surf and the beautiful people all around. i used to hang out in nigi nigi alot. but stopped ever since z germans invaded the place:)

i have been to Pg several times but in my opinion and find the diving satisfactory. the nightlife on the other hand is not of my liking as i find it a bit on the seedy side. i havent been to malapascua but am checking it sometime next year. am planning a trip to palau sometime in june, never been their and am looking forward to the experience. im actually going to be on the ocean hunter expedition (friend owns 50% stake on the boat) cant wait! btw im a great admirer of your art. one of the reasons why i decided to take up uw photography. cheers!

Thanks for the comments on the photos everyone. I really should update my Scubaboard pics one of these days. Lots of new stuff on my site though, www.bigblueimages.com

Spoon, ya i agree with you about the PG nightlife, not my cup of tea either. I just hung out at the Point Bar when i was there with my girlfriend. You will love Palau, the diving a lot different than Pi, a lot more in the way of pelagics and stuff. You should head to Yap after for a few days with the mantas.
Don't suppose one of your Canadian friends in Bora is John Munro of Cocomangas is it?
I always stayed at Normette's place pretty much right behind Nigi's

I will try to find the link to an article i wrote on Malapascua for one of the British Mags...
