1 CHAIN CLEARANCE/SLIDER CLEARANCE
The slider and tape must be able to move in their own way during opening and closing. Gluing heavy material too close to the chain will
restrict this action and MAY cause premature failure of the product. It WILL increase the energy required to move the slider.

IF USING TRILAMINATE MATERIAL YOU MAY REDUCE THE CLEARANCES BY 5MM

ZIPPERS GLUED INSIDE THE SUIT MAY ALSO HAVE SEALING TAPE APPLIED FOR EXTRA ADHESION AND SEALING
WHEN WELDING ZIPPERS INTO SUITS YOU SHOULD ALSO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS. We recommend you weld with the zipper OPEN.

1 END STOP CLEARANCE

A similar rule applies at the end stops (top and bottom). The chain clearance must continue to the end stop is reached.
