How to dry the inside of a wing put into storage?

I have a back inflate BCD that I use a few times a year when we travel to warm water dive, and wondering how to dry the inside of the wing or if this is necessary.

Take off the OPV and hang the wing so that the port is at the lowest point. Leaving it in the sun for an hour will expedite drying. You can also use compressed air to expedite drying.

Similar to hydration bladder care.... I remove the elbow (or the opv), and put a long skinny blunt object (like a long nylon spoon handle) in the bladder to keep the walls from touching, and let it dry out (sun helps cook it out).

Actually if you can find one of the hydration bladder folding dryers, it could be useful...

I don't personally do this, but I know a person who uses a glove/shoe dryer with a ski boot drying hose. He removes the dump valve and inflator, then sticks the hose inside and runs it for an hour or two.

He's the only person I know who does that. The other divers I know just hang it up overnight and haven't had any problems.

I dont bother, rinse it out with fresh water and it's fine staying wet indefinitely.

Rinse with fresh, inflate and allow to dry.

Inflate hose off and fill with water. Pull opv to run fresh water through it and then remove. I then hang it in my shed until my next dive day which could be the next week or a few from then.
