Hello everyone! I am really new to diving (Got PADI certified in October, then I lost my dive partner) and am really looking forward to doing more dives and meeting divers. I love reef diving and can get used to river diving, as long as the gators stay away.

Yes, I have an almost phobia related to alligators and sharks. I would actually love to run across a shark on a dive, so I can get over my fear (If I hear one more person tell me my fear is silly I may have to go mad ;) ). And I live in Florida so if you're in the water, there's a gator somewhere watching *shudders*

not sure what else to say, other than

Hello, nice to meet you!

Not sure bow many ways to say it, but I've seen three ways to spell it: noob, newb and nube.

But seriously, welcome to our sport/adventure/obsession.

I'll take Sharks over Gators any day!!

Most of the sharks I have seen in Florida are small. They are probably more afraid of you than you are of them. I'll leave the gators to you however especially if you have murky water.
