From looking at my log it is obvious my favorite site, at least by the number of dives, is "The Office" aka Cove 2. Why? Well as TSandM wrote, it offers so much -- lots of critters (never really know what you'll see); wonderful facilities (parking, bathrooms, friendly cafe); beautiful views; lots of people. I have 25% of my total dives (800+) there -- and 10% of my dives this year (160) were there as fun dives (and probably another 20% as training/professional dives). Oh yes, it is also 30 minutes from my house -- not as good as Redondo for NWGD but pretty darn good!

Here are some of the reasons:

The view from the water:

Just one of the normal critters found, the Giant Pacific Octopus:

The dive isn't over at Cove 2 until it is over -- this was in about 10 feet as we were about to exit:

And I could go on and on.

Shouldn't every diver have a convenient site like this?

WOW! Gorgeous pictures! The pic of the city skyline is just amazing! I love the octopus too! Super cool! :)

In the states we dive the Foundation at Beaver Lake in Arkansas. Its one of the clearest
sites on Beaver Lake. I've dove it 10-20 times. Go Chiefs!

Yay Chiefs!!!!

You live in KC!!!!!!! :) Exciting! Nice to meet you! Have you been to the Lake in Joplin? I know all the dive shops around here go to Beaver Lake to do their training dives. That's about 5 hours away right?

When I lived on Boracay I dove Yapak Two 124 times. It was a very popular spot for the customers and if there weren't customers, all us guys working at the shop would dive it anyway.
Since coming to Belize 11 years ago, I quit logging dives. I would guess I have done some sites here 30-40 times now. For sure though, within a few years I'll have over 100 on some of my favorites.
My favorites are just that because I never know what I'll see there. Anything could turn up.

I've been diving Point Lobos for 30 years; yet, even now, every dive has something new. Yum.

All the best, James

I figure that over the past 10 years I've got maybe 500 dives there. BTW - I'm the person who named it "The Office" ... back in 2002-2003, when I was unemployed and practically lived there ...

A Lot of the same Dives I do are local lakes that are free dives. We also do trash pick up to help clean them out because of some boaters dont give a crap about our waters and will then turn around and complain about the low fish count and polluted waterway but that is another story.

I also dive the same springs a lot because of the depth you get and to try out new Gear in in a comfortable diving environment.
