Define "normal."

In terms of a Surface Air Consumption ("SAC") rate of 1 cubic ft per minute, 50 cf of air at 33 ft. (2 atmospheres) would last 25 minutes.

If the SAC rate is 0.5, the tank would last 50 minutes.

It depends on a lot of factors. Is the water warm or cold, is the diver experienced or new, what is the divers body mass (tiny female or huge male), is their current at the dive site and if so is the diver going with it, against it or both.
Warm water diving in little current I suspect I could get 50-55 minutes out of a 50. If I am careful I often get 90 minutes in those conditions with an 80cf so 50/80cf x 90minutes= 56 minutes
I spend a lot of time in those conditions and have years of experience, I would think a new diver in simiar conditions would get in the 30-40 minute range depending on comfort and body size.
