The shop where I got certified is maybe a little more than a mile from the house (three to five minutes). The one I patronize now is 7 minutes from the house. I'm not even sure how many shops are within a 30 minute's drive, but it's at least half a dozen. Seattle is dive shop-rich, with tech shops, rebreather shops, a scooter manufacturer -- Just about anything you want for diving, you can get somewhere here!

according to google, my closest lds is 6.8km (4.2miles) away, and there are 3 others (that I know of) 25-30km (15.5 - 18.5 miles) away

I live 9 miles North of the Golden Gate bridge. We have multiple SCUBA stores in the San Francisco Bay area. There are six stores within 12 miles of my house. The one I frequent the most is 5 miles away. I also use the Teamcasa approach and let my fingers do the walking for some equipment.

Closest is 4 miles, several more within 6 to 25 miles and even more extending to 50 miles out. Between the 3 that I frequent the most, I can find about anything that I'm looking for and at a good price.

Closest shop - about twenty-five miles. Shop I use most, about 6,000 miles.

About 8/10 of a mile from my house.

I have one shop that's about 4 miles away and another that's 10 miles away.

How thick is double glazing.:D
As soon as I turn the key I'm there.:rofl3:

Just kidding but for most of my customers I'm within 15-25min.
