I couldn't help but notice that "Walk to beer fridge 3+ times a day" is missing form your pole, please include it.

Wish I could, but can't.... Polls can not be editted.

My favorite exercise is pushing the channel button on my remote and cruising 100 channels per minute.... That's got to count on aerobic exercise of your thumb, right?? It might not do much for my stamina, but it annoys the heck out of my wife.... and that's well worth it.

Carribeandiver:
whoa, you are depressing me. I lost 5 lbs during my weekend OW class and figured it was due to the laps in the pool. I thought if I could swim laps regularly I would be able to eat cake and ice cream 7 times a day and still stay fit.
Are you saying you swim for 40 minutes 3-5 times a week and still need to lose 30 to 40 lbs? Please tell me you started out having to lose 300 and only have 30 to go. That 40 minutes burns an incredible amount of calories, how could be possible you are not losing weight in huge amounts?
Naw, I only recommited myself to serious exercise about a month ago.

I lift 2-3 days a week and cardio 2 days a week. New England diving with doubles in the summer and not so easy access shore dives in the winter I think you would struggle if you only did cardio.

I typically lift 2-3 days a week and do cardio 4-6 days a week. The older I get the more important I find it is to do strength training. I don't do heavy-duty-make-my-muscles-big-and-bulgy kind of strength training. I focus on toning and maintaining strength and modest definition. As the body ages, muscle tone and strength can be maintained and even increased if you engage in regular strength training. Otherwise the muscles in the body will begin to atrophy.

I also didn't see "lifts 10-30 tanks twice a day, 5 days a week and dives a lot" as an option.

Some of us don't need anymore exercise than our jobs require.

... a classic case of "too much of a good thing" ... if muscles were makeup, this fellow would be Tammy Faye Bakker ...
