How far does everyone live from their normal dive spots? How many miles?

My most frequent spot is 2 miles away ... but the closes spot would be 200 yards away. I figure I'm very blessed to live so close to good diving.

Aloha, Tim

The closest sites are about 10-20 minutes by car. I could crouch in the fish tank in the back yard if I'm desperate.

Closest? A mile or so if I don't mind using an environmental suit. Usual dive resorts are about 70 miles away, which takes 2-3 hours depending on traffic.

Within a mile if I want.

There is plenty of water around Sacramento to dive in. Don't be so fussy. :D

4 miles from the local lake and way to far away from the ocean.
