Hi,
A question for the technical AL folks... Can the old model Micra reg be converted to a Micra ADJ with simply "bolt-on" spare parts. I was thinking of buying an old Micra and getting the parts for a Micra ADJ to convert it.

Thanks.

I don't think it would really be practical to make that conversion. The entire air barrel assembly is different and it's a significant portion of the cost of a new one.

thanks for the advice.

could you give a best $ estimate to the parts you had mentioned?

many thanks.

Assuming you could actually get somebody to let you buy just the parts, which I think it highly unlikely:

Valve body - $40
Lever - $20
Poppet - $33
Spring - $2
Washer - $3
Lever Sleeve - $17
Adj Screw - $10
Cap - $2
Knob - $3
Pin - $1
Purge Cover - $14
Pin - $3

Total $148

The purge cover is optional. The rest are not. You would also need a rebuild kit. These are retail prices. Wholesale is half.

Super detail! I have just filed the info into my list. Thanks for listing the parts Zaphod.

Thanks again.
