I picked up a LM strobe. Will most likely use it for downline and possible some wreck pen. How do you secure your strobe?

I don't have the LM strobe, but all the strobes I have ever had that I use for this purpose I just tie a bolt snap onto them exactly like you would a backup light. Then I can clip it into the anchor chain (common around here for the last bit near the hook) or affix it to my own guideline or anything else that is handy in or on a wreck.

For the descent, mask pocket on waist belt works for me.

The boltsnap secures it to me and works great with a chain mooring. The jon clip works on a down line mooring. The rubber is a piece of bicycle innertube to keep it secure and not snagging on things.

Perfect... that will do wonderfully.

You guys must tie better knots than me. I lost something once, now I tie the knot, soak it in superglue gel, then put a zip tie on it. Maybe overboard, but I don't ever want to look down at just a bolt snap again....
