How do you rate these octos??? If you have another choice at around these price ranges of these octos let me know why.
 
For servicability reasons, I suggest you stick with the brand of your first stage.
 
i say get apeks octo...
it even glows in the dark...
another safety feature which is very useful in night dives...
 
Mares MR12 Axis and Proton donot have big different, but Axis has the air leaking and freeflow problem and the proton is lighter and smaller. SP R190 is also very good reg. It's just too big. Three of the are easy to breath. I just like Proton better.
 
Why not the Sherwoods (I personally use the "Minimus")? I think these are great octos as they are very simple, reliable (at least IMHO and limited experience), and breath easily enough for the job.
 
I'll second that Jhelmuth.....am also using the minimus along with my Dad and girlfriend. They have been very reliable. Its nice how they lay flat and are tuned as such they don't freeflow unnecessarily. Not sure if I spelled that right?
