I am posting this in the DIR forum because I would like to hear from folks who dive with this mindset. How do you prefer to carry weight while diving in a BP-Wing?

V-weight (or v-pouch) when diving doubles.
Weight in waist pockets and a trim pouch on the upper tank band when diving singles..

Trim weight pockets on the upper and lower cambands for a single tank.

In doubles and salt water = weight belt and v weight
In doubles and fresh = only v weight needed

In single and salt = weight belt plus 2 non-ditchable pockets on the lower cam band.
Can't think of the last time I dove a single in freshwater so N/A for that.

Fresh water: Tailweight/V-weight or no weight depending on amount of undergarments
Salt water: Weight belt or combination of tailweight/V-weight and belt

doubles: v-weight
single, using wetsuit: pockets on camband
single, using drysuit: weight belt

V weight, weight belt, pouches on cam bands.

just depends on what tanks and what I’m wearing.

Single: Cam band pockets and v weight
Doubles: V pouch between the tanks

I do have these little pockets from Sub gravity that I put on the waist pushed all the way back to the plate. I found that my can light can make me roll slightly to the right so I will put 2lb in the trim pocket on the left.
