How comfortable are spring straps on jet-fins, please?

At first thought I figured they'd be really uncomfortable with springs across your my heal! That couldn't have been more wrong. they hold my fin on with only the pressure needed. Very comfortable. More comfortable than my straps ever were.

Finally had my chance to try out my spring heel straps on my jet. Had to say it is more comfortable than what I thought it would be. My 5mm Oceanic Venture boots do not have the rubber support on the point where the springs holds onto my heel. But my heels didn't feel pressured at all..........................glad I went ahead with it.
