I have read about how great diving is in that part of Maine. I would like to drive over there some weekend and do a few dives. Is there anyone I can buddy up with?

That area is my dream destination. No, actually for some reason I had a dream off diving of the rocky coast way up there someplace out in nowhere near the Bay of Fundy. For some reason, I believe it would be better than the tropics for marine life.

The marine life up there is just colorful and unique and doesn't come through the warmish water filter around Cape Cod for us to see down here.

Its the wilderness out there. I believe you study current and depth charts, drive up there and try and find parking near the coast.

The University of Maine may be able to give you some guidance as I believe they do scientific diving up there.

Are you addicted to colorful nudibrancs ?

Thanks for the info. The more I talk to people the more tempted I get about diving that place. I have never seen nudibrancs but would love to come across them some day. I have the option of studying charts and tides and doing my own thing but I think it will be a lot more fun with a buddy.

Guys let me know if anyone is interested. We can figure out the dates and everything.
