In an episode of Delta Divers on NatGeo, commercial divers in the Gulf of Mexico using surface-supplied air talked about using their bail-out bottles in an emergency. One guy said that at 300 feet, he'd only have a couple minutes of gas in it. His bottle looked like an Steel 80, but I can't be certain. Nonetheless, that seems like a mighty high SAC even for 300 feet and emergency conditions!

What's the capacity of the bail-out bottles commercial divers in the Gulf would use in those situations. I know that there may be no standard, but I'm curious to know what's typical.

Thanks!
