Well I'm in your optional 55 age group but I don't really see what I'd get out of a forum just for those of us in our 2nd half century.

Very few diving topics are restricted to a particular age group, even medical issues.

Age is no way of measuring diving ability or experience.

So I think such a forum, unless done on a local basis with social objectives as well wouldn't really work.

Forum for older divers:

Would it have larger fonts?

Would it have any women? Would any admit their age?

Hi: I truely enjoy the board. It fills a void when I cant dive. but it might be nice for us older divers to have a spot.
If not over sixty how about 55?
Thanks,
montyb

How about starting a thread? This way you can talk to each other, and see if there is a need for a forum.

I would certainly read it, but I'm not sure what kind of content we would post. Medicare dive coverage is probably pretty spoty! Most of the research seems to indicate that fit is more critical than age.

cheers

Don't you old dewds sleep too much, it will be a very quiet forum............

I really need to get a bigger screen!
