Hello all,

If you ever replaced your battery between two dives, you might share my frustrating experience of fogged housing. It seems virtually impossible not to get some drops of water in when opening and closing the housing (I am using PT059 for my TG6). If you have a way to deal with this, please share :)

Many thanks!

Take it you’re already familiar with the moisture muncher packs. You can bring a fresh one in a sealed ziplock with you.

Some other ideas here

We find that this has only ever happened a couple of times and of course both times when we have an awesome encounter lol. If only I had pictures to share as proof!

2nd the moisture munchrs. I sometimes had that issue in Suth California. Nice hot humid day but the water temp is at least 30 degrees lower. any moisture in the housing either finds its way to the electronics or the lens.
